June Reset: How My Blog Grew 68% Despite a Difficult Month

Happy
 New Month, guys!

Can you believe it’s already June?
We’ve officially completed five months of 2026. Five whole months.

Remember when I started the year with my very ambitious New Year’s resolution of giving up Coke? Well… let’s just say that resolution didn’t survive very long. Two months into the year, Coke and I became friends again. 😅

But here we are, five months later.

How have you been?

Before anything else, I want to say thank you.

At the beginning of May, I set a target for the blog. I wanted to reach 10,000 views. I was excited, motivated, and ready to push hard.

Then life happened.

Around the 13th of May, I became unwell. I’ve already shared more about that in a separate post, but it meant I had to slow down significantly. At the time, the blog had already reached around 5,000 views, and I honestly wasn’t sure what the final numbers would look like because I simply didn’t have the energy to promote or write as much as I normally would.

But guess what?

In April, the blog recorded 4,051 views.

In May, despite everything, the blog recorded 6,823 views.

That’s an increase of 2,761 views, which works out to an incredible 68% growth in just one month.

Honestly, that blows my mind.

Because behind every single view is a person.

Someone who took a few minutes out of their day to read my thoughts, my experiences, my lessons, my stories, my mistakes, my wins, my parenting adventures, my business journey, and everything in between.

So thank you.

Thank you for reading.
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for commenting.
Thank you for sending messages.

Those messages mean more than you know.
They remind me that words matter.

And they remind me that this little corner of the internet has become something special.

What’s Coming In June?
June has a lot in store.

We’ll be talking about:

* Parenting
* Friendship
* Career growth
* Business
* Faith and spirituality
* Personal development
* Relationships
* And everything in between

If you’ve been here for a while, you already know that no topic is off limits.
We’re going on the journey together.

My Focus For June: Filling The Gaps
Throughout May, I spent a lot of time identifying gaps in different areas of my life.

Gaps in my parenting.
Gaps in my business.
Gaps in my career.
Gaps in my routines.

And now that I’ve identified many of them, June is about doing something about them.

It’s one thing to know where you’re falling short.
It’s another thing entirely to actively work on improving it.

So this month, I’ll be taking you along as I work on filling those gaps.

Tomorrow, I’ll continue the conversation we started around identifying gaps and growth opportunities. While reading The Making of a Manager and reflecting on some of the lessons my dad shared during presentations he gave over the years, I realised there were so many practical ways to close those gaps that I never spoke about in my previous posts.

So we’ll be diving into those throughout the month.

My Biggest Gap Right Now
If I’m being completely honest, one of the areas where I feel I fell short in May was my spiritual life.

I don’t know exactly what happened(I was exhausted).

Life became busy.
My focus shifted.

And I don’t feel like I gave that area of my life the attention it deserved.

So June begins with a spiritual reset.
A spiritual cleanse.
A return to stillness.
A return to God’s Word.

I want to focus on what God is saying to me as:

* A mother
* A business owner
* A friend
* A Sunday School teacher
* And simply as His child
Some of the most valuable lessons I’ve ever learned have come during quiet moments in God’s presence.

And as always, I won’t keep those lessons to myself.
I’ll be sharing them with you along the way.

Your June Challenge
As we begin a new month, I want you to write down just one thing you want to achieve before June ends.

Just one.

Not ten.
Not twenty.

One.

If you’re someone who thrives with multiple goals, that’s great.

But if you’re overwhelmed, start with one.

One thing.
One focus.
One area of growth.

And then work on it consistently throughout the month.

And if you’re struggling, if you need encouragement, ideas, accountability, or simply someone to talk things through with, my inbox is always open. It’s ayodeleoloyo@gmail.com.

I am happy to help.
I am happy to learn from you.
And I am happy to cheer you on.

Here’s to a wonderful June.

With love,
Ayo
If this post resonated with you, share it with one person stepping into something new this month. We have a 10k goal, Let’s make it happen.
