My Go-To Chic Outfit: Oversized White Shirt & Barrel Jeans (Effortless Style)

Hi guys,
Let me just say this first so nobody gets it twisted 😄
I do not dress like this every day.

This version of me?
This “put together, chic, effortless” version?
You’ll see her twice a week
* Sundays (for church)
* And any day I go into work

The rest of the week?
We’re keeping it very real over here 😂
No make up
Basic T-shirt
but stylish always 😜

The Outfit Breakdown

1. The White Shirt (My Favourite Staple)
Let’s start with the real star.

 My white shirt

First of all…
I LOVE white.

But here’s the real twist:
This is a men’s shirt.

And honestly?
Now that I’ve started wearing men’s shirts…
I don’t think I can go back.

They fit better.
They sit better.
They give that effortless oversized look without trying too hard.

And the best part?

You don’t even have to buy one.

* Borrow your partner’s
* Borrow your brother’s
* Borrow someone’s 😄

Or if you want your own:
A classic Oxford white shirt will always work, mines from here or is it 😜
2. The Barrel Jeans (Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone)
Now let’s talk about these jeans.
Barrel jeans😏

This is actually my first pair.

And I won’t lie…
I was unsure at first.

I didn’t want to just wear something because it’s trendy.
So I styled them in different ways:
* With loafers
* With trainers
* With a sweater
* With heels
And now?

I get it.

They’re different…
but in a good way. Got mine here, here and here
3. The Shoes
Simple. Clean. Reliable.
A good pair of shoes will always pull an outfit together.

I’ve had these for a while now, and they just work.

I’ll link similar options (here  and more affordable ones here) because you don’t need to break the bank for this look.

4. The Bag (The Real Finishing Touch)

Let me be honest…
Without the bag, this outfit is incomplete.

This is what pulls everything together.
And the funny part?

I got this bag for £3 from Frasers.
Yes. £3 😄

Sometimes the best pieces aren’t expensive…
they’re just well chosen.

Final Thought
This is me…
Twice a week.

Chic when I need to be.
Comfortable the rest of the time.

And honestly?
That balance works for me.

Now Tell Me…
What’s your go-to outfit lately?

Are you a:

Oversized shirt girl
Or fitted everything kind of girl?

Let me know, I’m always looking for new ways to style pieces.
Olly shot it

With love,
Ayo

Stop Thinking Small About Your Life

Whenever people ask questions about purpose, I often find myself returning to this chapter. Because before we start asking what we are meant to do, perhaps we need to remember who we were created to be.  We are created in God’s Image
