Burnout, Creativity & Motherhood: My Honest Blog Update

Hi guys,

So it’s been a while since I’ve given a proper life update, and I just thought I’d sit down and share one with you all,  both a life update😩 and a blog update😭.

The last couple of weeks and months have honestly been amazing.

If you’ve followed me long enough, then you already know structure is probably my number one watchword in life.

I genuinely believe that without structure, everything falls apart.

And people always ask me:
“How do you do all of this?”
“How do you balance everything?”
“How are you able to take on so many roles?”

And my answer is always the same:
Structure.
Time management.
Intentionality.

But sometimes… even with structure, life can still become overwhelming.

Especially when you have a brain like mine.

A brain that hyperfocuses.
A brain that is constantly searching for the next idea, the next challenge, the next creative experience.
A brain that is always trying to innovate, improve, create, outdo itself.

It never really switches off.
And honestly?
It gets exhausting.

So I’ve had to make a very difficult decision.
And unfortunately, the blog is going to take the first hit from that decision.

For the next week,  from now until next Wednesday, I won’t be posting.

Not because I don’t love writing.
Not because I’m giving up.

But because I need to breathe.

I need to restructure.
I need to rest my mind a little.
And most importantly, I need to focus on other aspects properly.

There are over 200 posts on the blog already, so if you’ve missed some, this is honestly the perfect time to go back and enjoy them 😄 because trust me…..

I will be back with a storm.

And you know me….

Writing is a huge part of who I am.
So this isn’t goodbye.

It’s just one week.

One week to pause.
One week to reset.
One week to quieten my brain a little.

So I’ll see you guys next Wednesday.

Finally,
Turn your Phone around 😜

Thank you for reading.
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for the feedback.
Thank you for being here.

With love,
Ayo
