5 Things I’m Loving Right Now: Hair, Perfume & Soft Life Moments

Hi guys,

I’ve decided to start something new, a weekly ritual where I share five things I absolutely loved during the week.
Not big, dramatic milestones.
Just the little things that made me feel good, grounded, and present.

Because honestly?
Those are the moments that shape our lives the most.

So here are my highlights for this week:

1. My Hair Tong (Game Changer!)
The hair😝
Let me not even lie to you…

This hair tong?
A complete game changer.

My hair has never looked this good, this consistently.

With the right combo of mousse + holding spray, everything just comes together effortlessly. And the best part? That “freshly done” look actually lasts.

If you’re a babe and you’re still thinking about getting one…

This is your sign.
Especially after payday, go and invest in it 😌
Spoil yourself 😜

2. Always Have a Perfume in Your Bag (Trust Me)
Let me tell you a quick story.

On Thursday, I was heading to work and realised…
I forgot my perfume.

And not just any day, a day I actually wanted my scent to settle nicely before getting in.

I was already 1hr:30 minutes into my journey and I just thought:
“No. This cannot be happening.”

Because summer + no perfume?
Absolutely not.

Luckily, I had a 10ml mini perfume in my bag (one of those random gifts you don’t think you need… until you do).

And that saved me.

So here’s your reminder:

👉🏾 Always keep a small perfume in your bag or car.
It’s not optional. It’s essential.

3. My Emotions Jar at Work
This one is a bit more personal and honestly, I love it.

I started an emotions jar at work where I write:

* How I feel when I arrive
* How I feel when I leave

No long paragraphs. Just quick notes.

And I know myself, even with just a few words, I’ll remember exactly what that day felt like.

Next step?
Different coloured sticky notes for different moods 👀

It’s such a simple habit, but it’s already helping me become more aware of my emotional patterns at work.

4. Sunshine, Friendship & Real Conversations
I spent some time in the sun with E this week, and it was exactly what I needed.

We laughed. We talked. We reflected.

She also gave me feedback on my presentation (which I cannot wait to share with you guys soon 👀).

But beyond that…

It was just nice to be present.
To sit in the sun.
To feel light.

Those moments?
Underrated.

5. Learning to Pause & Appreciate More
This one is probably my biggest takeaway this week.
I’ve always been someone who notices things…

But now, I’m being more intentional about:

* Pausing
* Appreciating people
* Recognising consistency
* Valuing those who truly show up

And honestly?
I’m really enjoying this season.

Friendship feels softer.
Connections feel deeper.
And I feel more present in my life.

Final Thoughts
I think I’m going to keep this as a weekly thing.

Every week:

* 5 highlights
* 5 little wins
* 5 things that made life feel good

Because life isn’t just about the big moments.
It’s about these small, beautiful ones too.

With Love,
Ayo
