10 Fun, Vibey Questions to Close Out 2025

It’s officially the end of the year for me. Today was my last day at work, and by the time you’re reading this, my work laptop is shut, logged out, and not reopening until January 5th, 2026, at 8 am sharp.

Until then? Mentally unavailable. Spiritually resting. Emotionally winding down.

So let’s end the year on a light note. Here are 10 fun questions about 2025, and my honest answers. Take a moment with them and reflect on your year.

1. What surprised you most about yourself in 2025?

I like to go out.

Turns out, I’m not an indoor girl after all. My solo adventures made me realise that I actually enjoy being outside, exploring, moving, and living. I used to think outings were just for the kids, but 2025 said, “Girl, this is for you too.”

2. What did you say yes to this year that changed your mindset?

I finally said yes to something I’d been saying no to for way too long, despite knowing I was already done.

And honestly? I’ve never been happier, freer, or more alive. Even with the challenges, the outcome outweighs the fear every single time.

3. What’s one thing you stopped tolerating in 2025?

I won't negotiate my worth. And if you can’t meet it, access is revoked. Simple.

4. Which moment made you think, “Wow… I’ve grown”?

Realising I can hold two emotions at once.

I can smile with you and still be upset with you. That’s growth.

5. What song, phrase, or “chord” soundtracked your 2025?

“In my quiet moments, I’m enough.”

That line carried me.

Song-wise, God’s Love by Moses Bliss stayed on repeat.

And one personal chord I wrote for myself this year:

My value does not shrink or swell by how others see me. It stands unshaken.

Honestly? That might be the chord of the year.

6. What felt heavy at the start of 2025 but feels lighter now?

Love. Uncertainty. Shrinking myself.

At the start of the year, my light felt dim. Now? I feel limitless. Hopeful. Certain there’s a beautiful future ahead, and excited to walk into it.

7. What did you do just for you this year, no guilt attached?

I took a bold step for myself.

Fear tried to delay it, but I did it anyway. And I’d do it again. Earlier, Even.

8. What brought you unexpected joy in 2025?

My mum.

Something she said during a really hard moment changed everything:

“I love you. I’ll always be here for you. Whatever you need, I’ll provide.”

And she didn’t just say it, she showed it. Over and over again. That woman stood firm for me all year.

9. What version of yourself are you leaving behind?

The quiet one.

The one who stayed loyal to situations that weren’t loyal to her.

If it doesn’t work for me, it doesn’t deserve my loyalty. Period.

10. If 2025 had a title, what would you call it?

A Rebirth.

The year I was reminded of who God called me to be, and even the parts I’m still discovering. I’m living it. I’m grateful. And I’m excited for what’s next.

If you can, sit with these questions.

Reflect on your 2025.

What would you do again? What you’d release. What you’re carrying forward.

And yes, feel free to be a little jealous. I’m officially off work now 😌

See you tomorrow.

With Love

Ayo ❤️
