Birthday Adventures in Oxford 🎉

My birthday technically started on the 14th… but I won’t tell you why 😜.

I kicked off this trip with my favourite boys, and it turned into such a fun, memorable day. If you’re planning a trip to Oxford, here’s a little guide of things to do and yes, bring your toddler’s stroller, because what should be a 5-minute journey might take an hour!

Tips & Highlights:

1. I forgot a few essentials, but I wasn’t about to let that stop the fun.

2. Be flexible with bookings.

Travelling with kids means things rarely go to plan. I booked activities 30 minutes ahead, which actually saved money since we were late to everything anyway.

3. Best parking spot: Westgate Shopping Mall.

It’s conveniently located, making life much easier when juggling kids and bags.

4. First stop – the mall!

I’ve wanted a particular fragrance for ages, and finally, this season felt perfect to grab it.

5. Molton Brown wish:

I was hoping for a birthday discount on my collection, but no luck this time. I'm so mad at them, I might actually write them. I can't wait to share some of my favourite birthday discounts.

6. Lunch at Victor’s:

We booked their secret rooftop spot, and it did not disappoint. The view was incredible, the boys loved it, and they treated me to a birthday prosecco (alcohol-free, of course!). Victor’s also offers a sweet birthday plate at no extra cost, and kids eat for £20, super affordable.

7. Illusion Museum:

Just a 7-minute walk from Westgate, and perfectly doable on the same day as other activities.

8. Christ Church Cathedral:

Stunning and full of history, a must-see!

9. Thames River Cruise:

We didn’t get to do this because I forgot the stroller and was honestly ready to rest. Next time!

Fun recap:

The boys had maximum fun, but the birthday girl had the best birthday ever. Oxford stole my heart. I loved the architecture, the history, and that rooftop lunch idea, definitely planning to return.

Until the next adventure!

Just to see You

This morning was chaos in the most ridiculous, beautiful way.

This is for you - Part 2

Tired, stretched, challenged… but still here

The quote is in Yoruba-English.   Ayo: When people talk about resilience, they imagine it as this superhuman ability to never get tired, to keep going without breaking a sweat.
