Hi guys,
If you’re anything like me and love a really milky, smooth, slightly sweet coffee, then this is for you.
I’m not a fan of overly strong or bitter coffee. I like mine soft, warm, and comforting. And ever since I started making it this way, I’ve genuinely been enjoying my coffee more (and wasting way less of it too!).
So here’s exactly how I make Ayo’s Milky Coffee at home ☕
What You’ll Need
* Nescafé Gold Blend (or any instant coffee you like)
* Milk
* Hot water (freshly boiled)
* Honey or sugar (your choice!)
* Optional: Vanilla flavouring/syrup
Step-by-Step: Ayo’s Milky Coffee
Step 1: Start with Your Milk
Pour your milk into your cup, about halfway full.
This is what gives the coffee that creamy, rich base.
Step 2: Heat the Milk
Place your cup in the microwave and heat for about 1 minute.
You want it warm and steamy, not boiling.
Step 3: Add Your Coffee
Add 1 teaspoon of your coffee into the warm milk.
* Want it stronger? Add a little more
* Want it softer? Stick to 1 teaspoon
Then stir well until it dissolves.
Step 4: Add Boiling Water
Pour in your hot water to fill the rest of the cup.
This balances the richness of the milk while still keeping that creamy taste.
Step 5: Sweeten It
Add:
* 1–2 teaspoons of honey (my personal favourite)
or
* Sugar if that’s what you prefer
Give it a good stir.
Step 6: Add Your Twist (Optional)
If you’re like me, add a little vanilla flavouring for that soft, slightly luxurious taste.
It just elevates the whole thing.
Final Result ☕
A warm, creamy, lightly sweet coffee that’s:
* Not too strong
* Not too bitter
* Just perfectly balanced
Why I Love It
Since I started making my coffee this way:
* I actually finish my coffee (no more wasting it halfway 🙈)
* It feels like a little morning ritual
* And it’s just… comforting
Try It & Thank Me Later 😉
If you love a milky coffee, try this today, morning, lunch, whenever.
Trust me, it hits every time.
If you try it, I’d love to know
Are you team honey or team sugar? ☕💛
With Love,
(A latte girlie) Ayo
