Finding Love in 2026: Real Places That Actually Work

At the beginning of 2026, I told you something very intentional:
I said I was going to aggressively help you find love this year.
And I meant it.

Not with fairy tales.
Not with “just wait, it will happen.”
But with real-life experiences.

Because every place I’m about to mention?
These are places where people have actually come up to me, said hello, and started conversations.

And let’s be honest…
Love doesn’t just fall from the sky.

It starts with a conversation.

Before Anything Else: Look Good

Let me say this first because it matters more than people admit:
Look good. Dress well. Smell good.
I don’t know why you’re trying to “find love” looking like life has defeated you 😭
Looking good doesn’t mean wearing makeup every day.
It means being presentable, confident, and intentional.
Ask yourself: Would I date me like this?
If the answer is no… adjust.
Because energy introduces you before you even speak.

Now, Let’s get started

1. Solo Adventures & Activity-Based Spaces
I once took the hill, The Wrekin, and I spoke to several people.

That’s the thing about:
Hiking trails
Long walks
Rock climbing (if you’re brave 😭)
Fitness challenges

People are open.
People are present.

And the best part?
Go alone.
Because there’s always someone else there… also alone.
And that’s where conversations start.

2. Trains & Repeated Routes
This one is underrated.
If you:
Take the same train regularly
Use the same route
Travel consistently

You start seeing familiar faces.
And one day…

It goes from:
👀 eye contact → 🙂 smile → 👋🏽 hello → 💬 conversation

I’ve had people:
Start conversations randomly
Compliment me
Even find excuses to talk (you know the ones 😂)
Consistency builds familiarity.

3. Children’s Activities
This one might surprise you, but it works.

Whether it’s:
Swimming lessons
Coding classes
Sports activities
School events

You’re constantly around other adults.

And guess what?
They’re observing you too.

This is a soft, natural environment where conversations happen easily.

But again…
Look the part.

4. Social Media (Yes, It Counts)
Let’s not lie—this is how many modern relationships start.

I met Lanre through social media.
It started with a simple message.

Nothing dramatic.
Just conversation.

Now, I personally wouldn’t recommend dating apps (not my vibe 😅), but:
Social media? That’s different.

It allows:
Familiarity
Mutual connections
Organic conversations
And sometimes… that’s all you need.

5. Everyday Life (Stores, Streets, Errands)
This one is my favourite because it happens when you least expect it.

I’ve had people approach me:
While grocery shopping
Crossing the street
On my way to church

And the common factor?
I looked good.

Not overdone.
Just intentional.

Because when you carry yourself well, people notice.

Final Thoughts: Be the Energy You Want to Attract
Here’s the truth most people don’t say:

People are drawn to:
Confidence
Effort
Presence

Not perfection.
You don’t need to chase love.

You need to:
Show up
Be open
Be intentional

And most importantly…
Be someone you would want to meet.

Your Turn

If you’re serious about finding love in 2026:

Start going out.
Start showing up.
Start being seen.

Because love rarely finds people who are hiding.

FYI, that’s my brother Deji.

With Love,
Dele ❤
