Try a New Approach

Y:I agree with this quote. Persistence plays an important role in achieving success. However, it needs to be accompanied by openness to new ideas. When we stay curious, willing to learn and ready to adjust our approach, we are better placed to overcome challenges. The real strength lies in balancing determination with thoughtful reflection, which helps us to move forward with purpose and confidence.

A: When I want something, I go for it.

Starting and growing my business hasn't been easy, but it’s taught me a lot about the balance between persistence and flexibility. Over time, I’ve learned to welcome ideas, not just direct feedback, but lessons hidden in books, in conversations, and in observing people who’ve walked similar paths.

It doesn’t mean I take every idea and run with it. It means I listen, reflect, filter, and apply what fits. Because there’s always a way, but only if you’re willing to stay open and share what you’re struggling with.

That old saying, “a problem shared is a problem halved,” is still so true.

If you’re not stubborn, you give up too quickly.

If you’re not flexible, you stop growing.

And when you combine both perseverance and openness, you find your way through even the hardest seasons.

Because the road to greatness was never meant to be easy.

As you step into this new week, remember this:

Be stubborn about your goals, but flexible about your methods.

Don’t let a setback convince you to quit, and don’t let pride stop you from adapting.

Ask for help.

Share the problem.

Try a new approach.

Because there’s always a way. Sometimes, it just looks different from what you first imagined.

So this week, choose to persevere, stay open, and keep building, brick by brick, idea by idea, step by step.

Your breakthrough might be waiting on the other side of persistence and a fresh perspective.

With Love,

Yetty and Ayo ♡
